Biography

Brita holds an MLIS in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University, an MFA in Poetry from New Mexico State University, an MA Poetry from Temple University and a BA in Anthropology from Beloit College. Brita joined NMSU Library's Reference and Research Services department in November 2024. Prior to this, Brita worked in public libraries in New Mexico, New York, and Wisconsin. Brita's interests include Seed Libraries (and has helped create three community seed saving projects in New Mexico) and creative and documentary practices in library and information science.
